CHAPTER 11
OUR REASONABLE SERVICE
Ask yourself, “Would it be reasonable to give your body to
God as a living sacrifice? Now ask
yourself, “Would it be reasonable to give your body to a doctor, who may or may
not know your particular body and its system?
Would it be reasonable to believe that though we all may have similar
functions in our bodies, yet like finger prints, each is different in some way
to another’s? If it is said of God that
He knows the number of hairs on you head, would it be more reasonable to give
your body into His hands rather than a doctor who couldn’t possibly know this?
Would it be reasonable to give your bodies over to someone
who feels you evolved or would it be more reasonable to give your body to ONE
who knows you were fearfully and wonderfully made, created in the womb of your
mother, and even more so, were known before the foundations of the world and
its sciences.
Would it be reasonable to “not” conform to this world and
its sciences founded in evolution, but rather to reason God created instantly
not only this universe but also this uniquely created body. Would it be reasonable to believe He and He
alone knows more about this body and it function then thousands of the world’s
best doctors? Would it be reasonable to
believe you and these thousands of the world’s doctors might need your minds
renewed to a higher system?
Would it be reasonable to believe that in His grace He would
give us what the world may not want – the renewing of spirit, soul and body
now; thus sustaining this life longer than the average person who has conformed
to the world’s opinion? Would it then be
reasonable to ask this God to restore hair follicles beyond a hair weave? Also, would it be considered unreasonable to
have lost teeth restored beyond getting false teeth? Would I be unreasonable to ask to have my
skin rejuvenated to its one time youthful texture beyond nature means? Would I be considered reasonable asking for
such things?
I know that I would be considered unreasonable for thinking
in such a way, especially the hair and teeth matter. But what of the Creator matter, would the
world consider me as unreasonable for rejecting evolution and going with a
Personal Being of Intelligence called God?
The teeth and hair matter may be considered silly and wishful thinking;
yet would the worlds say the same concerning a Personal Loving God? Would they consider it silly to believe in such
fairy tales as some have called God, Jesus and the Bible?
I personally have come to some level of renewal in this area
of who do I trust with the sustaining ability of my spirit, soul and body. As the disclaimer I have given, I can not ask
you to join me in my choices; this is a matter between you and the Holy Spirit
and His leading you to higher levels and the renewing of your mind. Ask, seek and knock; for those who keep
asking keep on receiving and those that keep seeking find, and those that knock,
have the door opens to higher methods of His sustaining power.
